Not sure if you've been told before but you have a lovely speaking voice. Very calming.
thank you! i actually have always been told the opposite so i appreciate it :)
screen printing is so hard!! there's a perfect timing for everything in the process and if you over/underdo it at any point, it's ruined :D there's definitely a learning curve and a lot of nuances to keep in mind, but don't give up, you got this!!
I love your style so much! It's so fun to see it translated to so many mediums
luv watching your vids while i do my art! it’s so comforting!! 🫶🏻☁️
Thank you so much for showing us your processes! I appreciate you, and am inspired by you!
the screen printing was interesting, can't wait for the results!
woah I didn't realise screen printing was so tricky, you did amazing!! 🥰
Screen printing is so much fun! I took a course in college on all the forms of print making, it was a blast.
OMG IS IT NANA SEASON? I'm also re-watching Nana right now!!~ thanks for sharing your process with us Paloma
I love watching your videos while doing school work or art. Your vibe is really nice and calm.
Your voice and videos are so comforting and inspiring. I really like your art & editing style!✨️🐟
Your art is soo beautiful! Btw, an easier preciser way to get a border on procreate is to duplicate your fish and put it behind the original one, then fill the shape with a solid color and then blur that one (after turning off alpha lock). Then you can duplicate the blurred solid fish a lot of times and u get a nice border.
I really love that new sticker/photo printer, and it's a good price. I hate my cricut, but I spent so much money on it that I feel like I have to use it to justify how much I spent! lolsob
My favorite art girl yay thank you for creating your videos you are wonderful to watch life of
i loove how you edit your videos!!! you're a huge inspiration :)❤

Love love love❤❤❤❤❤
absolutely love your videos! just wanted to ask, what illustrating app are you using on your ipad? Thanks in advance!
it’s procreate!
I love this video! How many paints do you have, and which colors do you use the most when painting portraits or paintings? Do you have any other shows you watch while working on projects?
i have quite a few acrylic colors but for this portrait painting i’ve been using ultramarine blue, pyrole red, cad yellow, yellow oxide, white and turquoise deep! i change it up depending on the mood of the painting but blue red yellow white are a must for every portrait!
i'm an aspiring product designer, so this video was super informative and inspiring!! as a fellow youtuber just starting out, i’m excited to see more from you🫂💗
I do screenprinting for a living so it's always fun to see artists try in on their own ahah, I hope it ended up working! But if you want tips and tricks I'd be happy to provide as well :D
May I ask what kind of film was it you printed your drawing on? One of the big problems we come across even as professionals is to manage to print a black opaque enough for our transparencies, and I've never seen it done on a domestic inkjet printer. I really want to attempt to do some at home too and since that's the kind of printer I have I am really curious
👁👁
Just read this and for me: with my home laserjet (so not inkjet) printer the black definitely is not black enough. I had to get the sheet printed at a copyshop with the advice to let them print it with a colour printer, so the black would turn out a really deep black. (It was not for screenprinting but toyobo printing). As you're a professional you probably already know this but thought this might be a handy tip for other people out there :)
@angelicavis yes exactly! We did some experiment with our laser press at work (we usually outsource our transparencies to a shop in Paris that still does it the old way but obviously it's not the best when you need something fast) and it did work after multiple attempts, indeed by printing with CMYK instead of just black (+a particular color profile and a spray that is used to darken toner)
There is also the solution to use an anti-UV film, either by cutting it with a Silhouette/Cricut type of machine or even by hand with an exacto knife (less precise but honestly i think it would work so well with Paloma's art style)
Anyway yes sorry for rambling 🤭 i truly love this technique with all my heart
i’m not sure! i was using my friend’s set up but turns out my designs were too thing for the emulsion to really be able to get blasted off!!
@@palomathepeach oh yeah fair! It's totally possible to print your drawing but there are so many things that can make it easier or harder (like the type of emulsion or the thread-per-inch of your screen.)
Your friend probably thought about that but it maybe the burning time wasn't optimal either? It doesn't seem like the art appeared at all (on the video at least, i know it can be subtle ahah)
Anyways - i can't remember, do you have a PO box? I could send you some of the anti-UV film we have lying around, in case you'd like to try it out at some point
I have screen printed many times at home and I find it’s best to print 2 transparencies of the same design/size, and tape them layered together :D this makes the black dark enough, although uses up more of the transparent paper
Am i seeing things or are there two different people in this video?
it’s me and then at the end it’s me and my friend lol
