speedy contested, elevating to afd for discussion, though I expect it won't meet our notability policies. delete UtherSRG (talk) 13:47, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - the claim of a screening at Cannes bears out Go here. Although an IMDB listing is not included in the article, the subject is listed in the film's credits on IMDB, and subject has an IMDB page. A Google search found roughly ten or so hits. Not sure about notability, but I suspect the subject might pass muster. Evalpor (talk) 16:07, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Userfy, not good enough to be in the namespace right now but could become a very good article. I will host it if you want. Samwb123T (R)-C-E 23:15, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- * I'm fairly new at this and the Userfy thing is something I'm a bit unclear on. But I think this article, ratty though it remains, has value. Anything short of deletion seems desirable to me, thanks. Evalpor (talk) 02:04, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Article improvements have begun. Input is required from Lebanese-reading Wikipedians, as notable in Lebanon is notable enough for en.Wikipedia. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 04:35, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment The information regarding the movie "Carlos" could be found on the movie's official website, which is a microsite within canal plus, one of France's biggest TV station: Carlos.canalplus.fr (Ahmad Kaabour is listed among the main six actors of the movie alongside Edgar Ramirez)

There are plenty more articles about Kaabour, however they are mostly in Arabic, and that is why I am trying to build a Wikipedia page as it would be a main source for English-speaking people to read about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marwan.kaabour (talk • contribs) 08:49, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - sources indicate (rather borderline) notability, and this was an inappropriate nomination per WP:BEFORE. Claritas § 11:13, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
